The WDC provides financial literacy services and capital to area businesses and entrepreneurs in its target area. These programs foster small business growth and increase the capacity of Westside businesses to access traditional streams of capital. Through these programs, the WDC supports the growth and retention of local businesses within the Westside community. These programs include WDC Loan and Grant, and Business Credit Building University.

Business Credit Building University (BCBU)

The WDC Business Credit Building University (BCBU) is for small businesses, the self-employed and entrepreneurs, who want to build their credit capacity to access capital, now or in the future, for business growth.

WDC Loan Program

The Westside Development Corporation makes business loans for projects in its target area at/or below market interest rates. Loan amounts range from $15,000 - $250,000.

Business Growth Grant

The WDC Business Growth Grant Program is for businesses and non-profit social enterprises that need assistance to grow their business. A qualified business or social enterprise may be eligible for a matching grant of up to $5,000 as defined in the "use of grant" section of the guidelines.
