Westside Potential Landmarks and Cultural Resource Survey

Westside Houses The Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) has collected public feedback on the Potential Westside Landmark properties that were identified over the past year as part of the Westside Cultural Resource Survey. Based on community feedback and eligibility, the OHP will identify a select number of properties to move forward with historic landmark designation to ensure the protection of these significant Westside resources. The OHP will work with property owners over the next month and will host a public meeting for owners of the selected properties.

Visit our website at www.sanantonio.gov/historic/events.aspx for more information about the Westside Cultural Resource Survey and photographs of all potential Westside landmarks. This is an ongoing project, and we will continue to work with our community partners to identify additional cultural and historical resources on San Antonio’s Westside. We are in need of volunteers to assist with research on identified properties. For more information on the Office of Historic Preservation’s Westside initiatives, or if you are interested in becoming involved with our designation and research efforts, please contact Elizabeth Porterfield at 210.207.3327 or   This email address is being protected from spambots.
